CoPop is a nursing agency focused specifically on the community and population health efforts led by community, migrant, and tribal health centers ("Co-Pop"). We are a matchmaker between community health centers (CHC’s) and the nurses that specialize in this field. By matching travel nurses with community health centers we can offer more dynamic staffing options to the teams leading in this space. When needs increase, so can nurse staffing, and when needs decrease, nurse staffing can as well.
We offer 3 and 6 month nursing contracts, with optional extensions. More nimble staffing options provides more robust support for community health centers as needed, and provides our nurses with valuable experiences working in diverse settings across multiple cultures, regions, specialties, and health systems.
Community health centers are dynamic spaces with shifting needs, limited resources, and often disproportionate burdens of illness. They are also cultural wellsprings, hubs of innovation, efficacy, pride, clinical excellence, deeply informed stewardship, and responsive governance.
So much of what is true of community health centers is equally true of community health nurses: gritty, resourceful, multifaceted, and uniquely effective. By designing and resourcing more intentionally we can better empower both.
